At Nagel Art & Co., we recognize that our extensive catalog of images may not contain the perfect image for everyone.   For these customers, we offer three types of custom art services:

1. Printing of personal photos onto canvas
2. Private photo shoots by artist Lauren Nagel
3. Commissioned Artwork
   

Canvas Prints From Your Photographs
Our first level of custom art services involves printing of personal photographs onto premium photo canvas.    This is a fantastic way to commemorate a special event, place, or pet, and makes for an excellent and thoughtful gift. 

 For this service, there is an initial custom artwork fee of $100 for every 5 images submitted. The fee is $100 whether you submit 1 photograph or 5, so it is often beneficial to submit extra images as some images print better on canvas than others.  The $100 custom fee covers the cost of color proofing your photographs.  Image coloration may vary drastically on canvas, resulting in images that appear completely different from what one might expect based on a computer monitor or traditional glossy photographic paper.  In order to ensure your satisfaction with the finished result, we create a series of 7 color proofs for every image submitted. These color proofs typically arrive within 7 business days of your initial order.

After the proofing process, customers choose the size or sizes they would like for their final canvas prints. Pricing for the final prints is based on the size of the image selected (see table below).  Payment is required in advance for the total purchase (proofing and final prints).

Requirements for Submitting Photographs
Digital photographs should be taken with at least a 4 megapixel camera.  If your photos are digital and between 2 and 4 megapixels, please email a copy of your image to lauren@nagelartandco.com for a consultation on the ideal final print sizes for your photos (this helps avoid loss of resolution on final prints). Digital images may either be burned to CD and mailed or emailed to lauren@nagelartandco.com.

If your photos are from a 35 mm camera, please submit paper prints by regular mail.  We will convert them to digital images in our studio.

Private Photoshoot with artist Lauren Nagel
For customers located in the greater Boston area, we offer private photoshoots with artist Lauren Nagel by appointment. This is the ideal solution for customers who want custom and professional portraiture with an artistic twist. We can occassionally accomodate customers outside the Boston area; however, travel expenses may apply.

Private photoshoots are priced by the hour. Pricing is $200 for the first hour and $75 for every additional hour. The price of the photoshoot includes 50-100 proofs from which the final images may be selected. These proofs typically arrive 7-10 business days after the photoshoot.

Pricing for the final prints is again based on the size of the image selected (see table below). A $100 booking deposit is required before the photoshoot and will be applied towards the final price of the photoshoot.

Commissioned Artworks
